Our client is one of the worlds largest power generation companies. Their strategic focus to bring on line new power generation facilities lead them to identify a "gap" in their organization - skilled plant managers to run these new facilities.

The Chief Human Resources Officer approached The Grasp Group for assistance with designing a global New Graduate Leadership Development Program that would address the global need for future business leadership by proactively developing an engineering leadership talent pipeline for the company.

Working closely with our client we designed a comprehensive global development program structure which included the key components of:

Program Strategy
Recruitment Campaigns
Rotational Assignments
Participant Development Plans
Executive Mentorship Program
Ongoing global Program Management Infrastructure

Executive Sponsorship
Global Steering Committee
Global Program Manager
Program Guidelines
Program Costing and Funding Proposal

With the program design complete the next phase has now been initiated with a regional pilot underway. Based on the pilot feedback the program will be "tweaked" and then implemented on a global basis to coincide with regional business expansion plans.

"Working with the Grasp Group helped our group immensely when having to develop a
new talent development program without a key leader being in place to lead the project.
Sean’s professionalism, experiences as a business executive, and business acumen
proved to be exactly what we needed to interview a number of business leaders around
the globe to get their insights and support for the program.  Insightful, informed, clear
communications and practical approaches are what I needed and what I received
from The Grasp Group."
